He also served as Treasurer, Vice President, and President Northeast Indiana Junior Achievement while in High School, AHRA (American Hot Rod Association) 1/8 mile drag racing record holder at the age of 19, worked on a classified US Army chemical deterrent project at the age of 21, part-owner and developer of Arlington Park Section 3, worked on the developing of North Pointe Villas/Woods and Sycamore Hills, and licensed General Contractor and Superintendent.
